完全  或者  忠实的?

Perfection or Faithfulness?

“完全”这个词在词典里面有许多的解释，可以指“在整体当中不缺少其中主要的部分，”也可以指“没有缺陷，完美的”或者是“完成的，彻底的，”如此等等。

上帝所创造的世界也都是不完全的，当中还是会出现背叛或者犯罪，就算是在创世记1:1那里所说的原初的创造当中，情况亦然。

当初上帝在创世记 1:1创造了天地之后，以及后来在创世记1:2-31重建被毁灭之创造界的时候，他都是在其中赐下了自由，使得背叛和犯罪成为可能。上帝从来都没有说那些世界是“完全的。”

世上的人总是在寻找完美和完全。但是，上帝却是在寻找忠心和信实。

以上的思想可以运用在我们每日的生活和工作当中，就是当我们希望寻找完美的时候，上帝乃是在寻找信实。所以我们应该调整一下我们的注意力，不要总是企图把我们的鸭子都齐齐地排成一行，却因此使我们陷于困境，以致于不能够靠着对上帝的信心和顺服继续往前，从而错过了上帝的旨意。是的，我们在人生的旅程当中或许会遭受失败，但是我们有一位救主，我们可以在失败后向他悔改认罪，寻求饶恕。神是信实的，必会饶恕我们的罪，我们也可以重拾信心，保持对上帝的忠心，继续前进。

许多人因为害怕失败，以致于驻足不前，一直都呆在泥潭里面。

事实上，真正完美的那个世界，也就是神所创造的第三个世界，只有到了启示录21章那里才会降临。到时候，就再也没有背叛和犯罪，连罪性和那个会犯罪的旧身体都不复存在了。

      Perfection or Faithfulness?

The word "perfect" in the dictionary has many meanings, one is "lacking nothing essential to the whole," another is "without defect," another is "complete, thorough" and so on.

No world God ever created was a perfect world, without possibility of rebelling or sin,
not even Genesis 1:1.

When God created the world in Genesis 1:1 and recreated it in 1:2-31 He gave both the freedom to rebel and sin.  God never said they were “perfect.”

These thoughts can be applied in our everyday life and work, where we may want perfection, God is looking for faithfulness.  Always wanting all of our ducks in a row will stymie, block, us from moving forward in faith in obedience to God.  Yes, we may fail as we move forward, but then we have a Savior to confess our sins to and seek forgiveness.  He is faithful to forgive our sins and we can continue to be faithful to the Lord. 

Fear of failure keeps many stuck in the mud, not moving forward.

Not until Revelation 21 will the third world God creates come, a perfect world, without rebellion and sin, without a sin nature and without a sinful body.
